Who Uses Branded Plush Toys?

Promotional plush toys work across a surprising range of industries and campaigns. Childcare centres, schools and family-focused brands use them as giveaways that parents and kids genuinely keep. Tourism operators, zoos and wildlife attractions choose native animals such as koalas and kangaroos to reinforce their Australian identity. Corporate clients order custom teddy bears for milestone gifts, fundraising drives or conference packs that stand out. Charities and NFPs find plush toys highly effective for donor recognition and awareness campaigns, while retail brands use them as purchase-with-purchase incentives or limited-edition collectables. Healthcare providers, sports clubs and event organisers also turn to soft toys when they want a tangible keepsake that carries emotional weight. If your audience includes families, children or anyone who values a tactile, long-lasting reminder of your brand, a plush toy delivers impact that a flyer or pen simply cannot match.

How to Choose the Right Plush Toy for Your Brand

Start by thinking about your audience and the message you want to send. A classic teddy bear suits almost any campaign and offers broad appeal, while an animal that ties to your location, mascot or cause creates instant recognition. Consider the size and weight if you are mailing or handing out toys at events; smaller plush options keep freight costs down and fit neatly into showbags. Material matters too. Cotton and natural-fibre plush toys appeal to eco-conscious buyers, while traditional polyester options offer vibrant colours and durability.

Branding area is another key decision. Embroidery on the chest or foot gives a premium, permanent finish that will not peel or fade. Printed tags, ribbons or accessories work well when you need full-colour detail or want to keep the toy's surface soft. Think about how the toy will be used: a sitting bear is perfect for a desk or shelf, while a standard plush animal is easier for young children to carry. If you are ordering for a specific campaign, ask yourself whether the toy reinforces your story. A koala or kangaroo makes sense for an Australian tourism brand; a generic bear might be the safer choice for a corporate gift. Styles and Animals Available

Good Things stocks a broad selection of plush toys to suit different campaigns and budgets. Traditional teddy bears remain the most popular choice, available in sitting and standing poses and a range of sizes. You will also find a variety of animals including farm favourites such as cows, lambs, horses and ducks, as well as wildlife options such as elephants, giraffes, crocodiles and frogs. For Australian-themed promotions, native animals including koalas, kangaroos and kiwis are stocked and ready to brand.

Many plush toys are offered in natural tones and classic colours, with some styles available in cotton or eco-friendly materials for brands prioritising sustainability. The range includes both compact designs suited to bulk giveaways and larger statement pieces that work as premium gifts or raffle prizes. Because stock and variants change, the best way to see exactly what is available in your preferred size, colour and animal is to browse the live range online and build a quote. That way you will know the price, lead time and decoration options before you place an order.

Branding Your Plush Toys

Embroidery is the most common decoration method for promotional plush toys and delivers a high-quality, tactile finish that lasts the life of the product. Your logo is stitched directly onto the chest, foot or ear, creating a permanent brand mark that will not crack, fade or peel. Embroidery works best for simple logos with solid colours and clean lines; fine detail or gradients may need to be simplified.

For full-colour artwork, complex designs or photographic images, digital print or heat transfer onto a sewn-in label, ribbon or patch is often the better choice. Some plush toys can also be branded with a hang tag, belly band or custom accessory such as a printed t-shirt or bandana. Good Things provides free artwork service on every order, including vectorising your supplied logo and creating a digital mockup so you can see exactly how your branding will look before production begins. If you are unsure which method suits your design, the team will recommend the best approach based on your artwork, budget and the plush style you choose.
