Gift Sets

Who orders custom branded gift sets in Australia?

Promotional gift sets are popular across corporate Australia, from professional services firms thanking clients at year-end to tech companies onboarding new hires with welcome packs. Real estate agents use branded gift sets as settlement gifts, while event organisers distribute them at conferences and trade shows to create a memorable attendee experience. HR teams order employee recognition packs for work anniversaries and milestone celebrations, and sales teams rely on curated gift sets to nurture high-value prospects. Universities and schools package branded stationery sets for orientation weeks, and tourism operators create destination-themed packs to promote local experiences. Charities and community groups also order gift sets for fundraising events, donor recognition and volunteer appreciation. Because a well-chosen gift set delivers multiple touchpoints under one presentation, it extends brand visibility far beyond a single item.

How to choose the right promotional gift set for your campaign

Start by defining your audience and the occasion. A client thank-you gift set will look different to a staff wellness pack or a trade-show giveaway. Consider the recipient's lifestyle: an Active Living Pack suits health-focused campaigns, while a Back To School Pack targets families and education clients. Think about where the set will be used. Items for remote workers might include a notebook, pen and coffee tumbler, whereas an outdoor event set could pair a cap, sunscreen and a drink bottle.

Presentation matters. Cardboard gift sets such as the Anthem Cardboard Gift Set or Carnival Cardboard Gift Set offer an eco-friendly unboxing experience and can be printed with your branding on the outer packaging. Traditional rigid-box sets deliver a premium feel for high-value clients. Match the product mix to your budget and message: pairing a few quality items often makes a stronger impression than a large bundle of low-cost trinkets. If you are ordering for multiple audiences, ask about mix-and-match options or tiered sets. Our team can recommend combinations that fit your goals and provide free digital mockups so you see exactly how your logo will appear before you commit.

Packaging styles and materials compared

Gift sets are typically presented in cardboard boxes, rigid gift boxes, drawstring pouches, zippered cases or shrink-wrapped trays. Cardboard boxes are lightweight, cost-effective and fully printable, making them ideal for large-volume giveaways and mail-outs. Rigid two-piece boxes (lid and base) add a premium touch and work well for executive gifts and awards. Drawstring cotton or polyester pouches suit smaller sets and double as reusable bags, extending your brand's life. Zippered cases in canvas or neoprene are practical for tech accessories, travel kits or wellness packs, while shrink-wrapped trays keep costs down for high-volume events.

Many clients now request sustainable packaging. Recycled cardboard, FSC-certified paper and natural-fibre pouches align with corporate responsibility goals and appeal to environmentally conscious recipients. The outer packaging can be decorated with digital print for full-colour artwork, screen print for bold logos, or embossing and debossing for a tactile finish. Inside, items can be individually branded using pad printing, laser engraving, embroidery or heat transfer, depending on the material. Mixing decoration methods across a single set adds visual interest and reinforces your brand at every touchpoint.

Branding and decoration methods for gift sets

Each item in a custom gift set can carry your logo, but the outer packaging is just as important. Digital print allows full-colour graphics, gradients and photographic images on cardboard boxes, perfect for seasonal campaigns or product launches. Screen printing delivers sharp, durable logos on rigid boxes, pouches and fabric cases, and works well for one- to three-colour designs. Embossing or debossing adds a premium, tactile finish to rigid-lid boxes and leather-look cases, ideal for corporate gifting.

Inside the set, decoration methods vary by product. Pens and metal items suit pad printing or laser engraving. Drinkware can be screen printed, laser engraved or decorated with full-colour digital print. Apparel and bags are typically embroidered or heat-transferred. Notebooks and stationery accept foil stamping, screen print or digital print on the cover. Our network of local suppliers and decorators ensures each component is finished to a high standard, and every order includes free artwork service and free digital mockups. You will see a virtual proof of the entire set, inside and out, before production begins. This removes guesswork and ensures your branding is consistent, sharp and aligned across every piece.
